Hot Shop GUT expands in Europe with second branch in Amsterdam

The trendy creative agency GUT is expanding in Europe with its second office in Amsterdam; the first was in Madrid.

The new office will be led by Carmen Rodriguez, Global Chief Growth Officer, and Ignacio Ferioli, CCO, who are moving from Miami and Mexico respectively. GUT is a spin-off of WPP and Ogilvy’s agency David. It is now majority owned by technology consultancy Globant.

Rodriguez (left) says: “Amsterdam is a true melting pot of culture and creativity, and I can’t think of a more exciting place to work as GUT expands its presence across Europe – starting with Madrid. This diversity of cultures and backgrounds is one of the secret sauces that makes GUT so interesting for clients looking for local work that resonates with both local and global audiences.”

Ferioli says: “GUT’s expansion across Europe is a truly transformative moment for the network and I am delighted to be part of it. I am here to continue what I have done in the other GUT offices I have had the pleasure of leading so far – to instill the culture of the agency and generate business based on bold ideas, our way. There is no other way to do this. We are realising our mission to become the most diverse, creative and influential agency in the world.”

Founded in 2018, Gut has won numerous awards in its relatively short existence, including 3 Grand Prix and 35 Lions at the recent Cannes Lions.
