KANSAS CITY, Missouri – The vision of what the new Country Club Plaza will look like after a change of ownership just became a little clearer.

Highland Park Village Management released renderings of the plaza on Friday via OMNIPLAN, showing a mix of 3D and hand-drawn models.

The renderings include a modernization of the building at 450 Nichols Road with additional outdoor seating on the west side of the building and a modernized exterior design.

“As we continue to work on a master plan for the Country Club Plaza and envision what this crown jewel of our community can become, these renderings serve only as initial thoughts and ideas that we are currently evaluating and testing,” said Drew Steffen, President and CEO of HP Village Management.

The Dallas-based company officially completed the purchase of the Plaza in July, months after reports surfaced of the company’s interest in acquiring the property.
