A sealed copy of the Nintendo 64 game Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time sold for $228,000 at auction in 2021.

Due to its high quality, it was described in the auction listing as “an exquisite and timeless piece of video game history.”

However, if you don’t have that much money, Walmart also offers less rare versions of the game.

Unsealed or restored versions start at $15.88.

WHALE WOAH

Walmart offers sellers a platform to share their own goods, similar to Amazon.

A game seller offering Ocarina of Time unused for $15.99 has mixed reviews.

“When I received my package, my item was not in it. I then contacted the seller for a replacement and although it was shipped and delivered, nothing arrived to me,” said one one-star review.

“At this point I am so upset that I will just have to accept the loss and will never shop with a third-party seller through Walmart again,” they added.

Others had no problem with the seller.

“Got exactly what I ordered, so far all games work great,” said another reviewer with a smiley face.

“I want it out of my house,” says a bargain hunter who bought a $4 vase – it is actually a 2,000-year-old artifact that is “worth $107,000”

Walmart offers protection to shoppers who purchase items through third-party sellers.

If something goes wrong, Walmart says it gives the seller 48 hours to find a solution.

If this does not work, the company itself can intervene and offer a solution.
