DISNEY fans and budget-conscious shoppers will be thrilled to discover hundreds of items at discounted prices at a thrift store just a few miles from Disney World, which helps keep the store always stocked with all kinds of themed items.
While the Florida theme park attracts millions of visitors each year looking for fun and laughter, Disney World is also known as the scene of thousands of lost items during family vacations.

From sunglasses to Disney ears to shirts and pants, all kinds of items are left behind in the park.
To give these items a second life and reduce the enormous amount of waste, Disney World donates many of these lost and found items to a nearby second-hand store.
The Hope Chest is located at 1802 W Broadway St. in Oviedo, Florida – just 40 miles from the legendary amusement park.
Social media influencer Genesis (@beercutieandfoodie) highlighted the thrift store in a video shared on Instagram, calling it a “little hidden secret.”
Here, Disney fans and savvy shoppers can find all kinds of donated Disney World lost and found items, including Disney-themed ears and souvenirs from other nearby parks like Disney’s Animal Kingdom.
Shoppers can even find high-quality and luxurious branded sunglasses for as little as $15.
“When I discovered this, I knew I had to share it with you all!” Genesis wrote in the caption of the post.
Not only can shoppers find the most beautiful accessories and clothing for their next Disney trip, but the secondhand store also offers huge discounts.
Every Saturday, the store hosts an “epic” $1 sale, the social media influencer said.
While customers are limited to 30 items during this incredible sale, a large portion of the store is available for just a dollar.
Other Instagram users were excited about the find from the thrift store. One said: “This looks great for my next road trip up north.”
“Wwwhhhaaatttt,” said another, shocked.
“Amazing,” agreed a third.
The Dowry Chest is open Tuesday to Saturday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. and is normally closed on Sundays and Mondays.
OTHER THRIFT DEALS
This isn’t the only thrift store with deals Genesis has found for Disney fans in Florida.
In Winter Park, the social media influencer came across the Boys & Girls Club of Central Florida, which also stocks donated lost and found items from the theme park.
In this store, Genesis found items such as clothing, hats, toys, shoes, backpacks and luxury sunglasses from brands such as Prada and Rayban.
“The original – not a fake. I got so many,” she said in a TikTok video in February.
