The greenhouse consists of three parts.

On the left is a small desk made of wooden boards with storage space underneath where Gina keeps her clothes.

In the middle of the room there is a yoga mat that Gina uses to practice every day and on the right side of the room there is a mattress, a sleeping pad and hooks to hang her towel and jacket.

To light the greenhouse at night, Gina simply uses a small flashlight attached to the curtain, and for electricity, she uses an extension cord plugged into the house on the property where her greenhouse is located.

There is also a shared outdoor kitchen that Gina uses together with the other residents of the property.

When Gina needs to pee, she simply does so outside her greenhouse, and when she has to go, there is a composting toilet outside.

The site also has an outdoor shower attached to a tree and an outdoor washing machine.

“I feel like I have everything I need and I’m grateful that my life path has led me to this point,” she said in a video posted on her YouTube channel.

While living in the country, Gina gets paid to build a house and has learned a lot of new DIY skills.

“I feel like life here is so full and vibrant,” she said.

She also saves money on food by growing her own fruits and vegetables.

“I love living in a greenhouse and I love growing food,” she said.

The greenhouse is located in California, so it is warm enough for Gina to live there in the summer.

Frequently asked questions about tiny homes

The tiny house movement began in the US before gaining popularity in the UK.

What is a tiny home?

Tiny houses are small, fully equipped living spaces designed for a more sustainable, off-grid lifestyle. Although they vary in size and shape, tiny houses typically have between 15 and 50 square meters of living space, are built from sustainable materials, and are easier – and cheaper – to maintain than traditional brick homes.

Are tiny houses legal in the UK?

As long as the tiny house does not exceed the dimensions 19.8 m x 6.7 m, it is defined as a caravan under British law. Tiny houses are therefore considered legal additional living space.

Can you get a mortgage for a tiny house?

Because of their small size and relatively low cost, tiny houses are generally not eligible for a mortgage. However, there are many ways to get a loan to finance your dream of the perfect, portable home.

However, when winter comes, it becomes too cold and she has to find somewhere else to stay.

However, she seems to feel extremely comfortable in the greenhouse and even turned down the offer of a two-room apartment in order to continue living there.
