Immerse yourself in organic luxury at Take Care Shop, your plant-based paradise

Immerse yourself in organic luxury at Take Care Shop, your plant-based paradise

Founder Becky Waddell appeared on Good Morning Washington on Thursday to highlight Take Care Shop’s seventh anniversary as a Washington, DC-based company.

“We started our company because in DC, there’s a constant pressure to keep up, and it’s incredible what you can accomplish here, but at the same time, you can burn out,” Waddell said. “So Take Care is about finding those moments in your day to recharge, reconnect with yourself, and stay present.”

Waddell’s Take Care is a curated store and holistic spa offering 100% organic, small batch skin care, body care and beauty products.

The shop offers plant-based lifestyle products such as luxurious face masks, curl tamers and aromatherapy accessories.

Take Care Shop is also a spa that offers facials, massages and energy healing to its clients. Facial memberships can be purchased online.

“We encourage our clients to incorporate spa services into their daily routine, just as you would incorporate a gym membership into your daily routine,” Waddell said. “That way, you really have an hour a day just for you that can’t be interrupted and is all about pampering.”

According to the founder, Take Care is partnering with Three Littles to offer exclusive deals to celebrate the company’s seventh anniversary in Georgetown.

With a deep passion for wellness and beauty, Waddell prides herself on her selection of cosmetics that are completely vegan, non-toxic, free of synthetic fragrances and minimally preservatives.

The store also includes a wellness center called “The Studio,” where customers can explore stress management options, attend classes and events, or rent it for a private session.

The retail store and spa is located at 1338 Wisconsin Ave. NW and the Take Care Studio is located at 3144 Dumbarton St. NW.
