Inactive Packers vs. Eagles players

Inactive Packers vs. Eagles players

The Eagles open their 2024 season tonight against the Green Bay Packers in São Paulo, Brazil.

Before the competition, the team had seven players listed as inactive.

Linebacker Devin White did not travel with the team to Brazil after suffering an ankle injury during practice. White, who was listed as out earlier this week, will have to wait to make his Eagles debut after signing with the team as a free agent.

After missing the entire 2023 season due to suspension, cornerback Isaiah Rodgers will also have to wait to make his debut as he is sidelined with a hand injury. Rodgers was listed as a limited participant on the team’s estimated injury report Thursday. The former Indianapolis Colt has been a frequent first-team player throughout training camp alongside Darius Slay, but rookie Quinyon Mitchell is expected to make his first career start in the opening game.

Third quarterback Tanner McKee will be out and can only be used in an emergency if both Jalen Hurts and Kenny Pickett are unable to play.

One of the new additions, defensive tackle Byron Young, will join the list of newcomers who will not make their debut tonight as he is out for the game.

Here is the full list of the 7 inactive players for tonight’s game, which is scheduled to start at 8:15 p.m. ET (9:15 p.m. São Paulo):

Jalyx Hunt | LB
Trevor Keegan | G
Darian Kinnard G/T
Tanner McKee | 3. Quarterback
