Internet outages reported by Hargray’s customers in Georgia on Monday

Are you having problems with your internet connection? You are not alone.

Many Hargray Communications customers reported outages on Monday, which also affected Verizon Wireless customers, downdetector.com reported, peaking at around 11 a.m. with more than 2,500 outages.

Although Downdetector has not yet listed the locations with the highest number of reports, the outage map indicates a particularly high concentration in coastal Georgia (including Savannah) and the Atlanta metropolitan area.

Hargray posted the following message on Facebook around noon on Monday:

“We are aware of an issue that is currently impacting telephone accessibility for some of our customers. We apologize for any inconvenience and thank you for your patience while we work to resolve the issue as quickly as possible.
