Soon after the launch of the new iPhone series, Apple, as it does every year, also discontinued some old models. The Cupertino-based tech giant also announced a massive price drop for some other older models.

Apple products discontinued after the launch of the iPhone 16:

The two most prominent products that were pushed out of Apple’s portfolio following the launch of the new iPhone were the iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max. Notably, these are the only two smartphones that could currently support the Apple Intelligence feature, and their removal from Apple’s portfolio means that users will have to purchase the new iPhone 16 series to gain access to the company’s latest AI features.

Another smartphone that was taken off the shelves was the iPhone 13, which made its debut in 2021. In addition, iPhone 14, iPhone 14 Plus, iPhone 15 and iPhone 15 Plus all have a ₹10,000 discount off the current list price on the Apple website.

iPhone 16 series price in India:

iPhone 16 and iPhone 16 Plus have the same starting price of ₹79,900 and ₹89,900 like last year, although it has a much more powerful CPU. The 256 GB version of the iPhone 16 now costs ₹The 89,900 and 512 GB version costs ₹1,09,900. The iPhone 16 Plus, on the other hand, costs ₹99,900 for the 256GB version and ₹119,900 for the 512 GB variant.

The storage variant of the iPhone 16 Pro with 256 GB costs ₹1,29,900, while the 512GB and 1TB variants cost ₹1,49,900 and ₹1,69,900 respectively. The iPhone 16 Pro Max, on the other hand, costs ₹1,64,900 for the 512 GB storage option and ₹1,84,900 for the 1TB storage option.
