SAVE THE CHILDREN INTERNATIONAL (SCI, Ethiopia), the world’s leading independent non-profit children’s organization, intends to enter into a long-term framework agreement for the provision of LIGHT VEHICLE RENTAL services with the possibility of extension for another year, renting vehicles in a safe and cost-effective manner at various locations. Potential service providers are hereby invited to submit a sealed tender in accordance with the Service Details, Instructions to Bidders and General Terms and Conditions of Purchase described below:
Tender documents
- Potential bidders may obtain the tender documents against payment of a non-refundable amount of ETB 100 from 27 August 2024 to 13 September 2024 during business hours at the SCI offices in Addis Ababa Regional Office.
Save the Children country office in Ethiopia, near Meskel Square, near the Hyatt Regency Hotel.
The following documents must be enclosed with the submitted offers:
Renewed valid business license
- Company profile indicating the tenderer’s address, branches, structure, resources, etc. and other documents as specified in the tender document.
- Declaration of acceptance of SCI’s Statement of Requirements, Terms and Conditions, Policies, etc. A completed SCI Price List (separately sealed financial offer).
- Bid security on behalf of “Save the Children International” in the amount of ETB 100,000.00 in the form of CPO or Bank Guarantee valid for at least 90 days from the date of tender. (Cash and insurance guarantees are not accepted) and other details as specified in the tender document
Offers must be submitted in two sealed envelopesseparate technical and financial offerswith an official company seal and clearly marked by “Name of bidder, Address and tender number and title as indicated above. The offer must be submitted in the offer box provided at the SCI premises in Country Office Addis Ababa To 16 September 2024, no later than 2:00 p.m.
Save the Children’s Procurement Committee will launch the technical tenders on 16 September 2024 at 3:00 p.m.
SCI reserves the right to accept or reject this offer in whole or in part.
