After a tough loss to start the 2024 college football season, Clemson football responded in similar fashion last week.
The No. 20 Tigers (1-1) struggled to compete on offense against No. 1 Georgia in the first week of the season, losing the game 34-3. However, Clemson responded with a 66-20 win over App State last week in Week 2, leading 56-13 at halftime. The Tigers have Week 3 off to prepare for ACC play.

After a touchdownless performance against the Bulldogs, quarterback Cade Klubnik rebounded last week with 378 passing yards and five touchdowns against the Mountaineers, both career highs for the junior playmaker from Austin, Texas.
Clemson returns to action in Week 4 when it plays ACC foe NC State in its conference opener. Here’s what you need to know about the Tigers’ remaining schedule:

No, in Week 3, Clemson is in the first of two off weeks of the 2024 college football season.
The Tigers return to action in Week 4 when they host NC State at home to open ACC conference play on Sept. 21. The Wolfpack defeated the Tigers 24-17 last year, but the Tigers lead the overall standings at 60-30-1, including an 8-2 record in their last 10 meetings.
Clemson will play five more games before its next scheduled off week on Oct. 26 before concluding the season with five consecutive games, including the season finale with same-state rival South Carolina in the annual clash.
