Courtesy of its official Amazon store, Jackery is offering its Explorer 1000 Plus portable power source for $849 shipped. Since the start of 2024, this particular model has only seen six price reductions, on average every one to two months – first to $949 in January and February, before continuing to $899 in March. For the past four months, the price appears to have been $200 below MSRP, with a few repeated drops to $849 and a brief low of $839 last month. Today, you’re looking at the second lowest price, which gives you $350 off the price and is just $10 above the all-time low we’ve ever seen.

The Explorer 1000 Plus is a great addition to homes that often need sudden backup power, as you can plug it directly into a wall outlet and charge its 1,264Wh LiFePO4 battery in just 100 minutes thanks to its fast-charging feature (for example, in response to storm warnings or sudden last-minute travel plans). When connected to a maximum 800W solar input, it can charge in up to two hours, with smart control via the companion app and eight output ports – three ACs, two USB-A, two USB-Cs, and a car port. It normally delivers 2,000W output with a peak of 4,000W, so it can temporarily power devices and appliances when needed.
