It looks like Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck are talking again, despite rumors saying otherwise.

According to reports, J.Lo visited her semi-estranged husband’s Brentwood rental home over the weekend of August 11 while he was there. It’s unclear what their interaction was like, but… it seems to be progress. The visit came after the Atlas The actor stopped by Jennifer Garner to see the 30 overnight Star and Ben’s son Samuel on a shopping date.

“Just because she’s not with Ben doesn’t mean she doesn’t care about his kids,” a source says People“They have always taken care of her. Last year she spent months looking for the perfect house for her blended family. Now that she’s back in LA, she wants to spend a lot of time with them before school starts again and Violet goes to college.”

The insider also notes: “The kids are still off school. (Ben) is spending a lot of time with them too. It hasn’t been the easiest summer for him either. He’s just trying to stay focused and make each day the best he can.”

FYI: Ben and J.Lo haven’t commented on their relationship status yet, but the celebs’ film premieres at TIFF in early September (and hits theaters in December), so it’s possible they’ll be walking the red carpet together soon.
