Jiaoqiu takes priority

When leveling Jiaoqiu’s Traces, focus on leveling his ultimate and talent first. Leveling his ultimate increases the ultimate damage buff and chance to inflict Ashen Roast, while leveling his talent increases the damage boost Ashen Roast provides.

Next, you should upgrade his SKILL to increase the damage he deals. Lastly, you should upgrade his basic attack since he won’t use it often.

As for the main lanes, it is enough to upgrade them in the order they are unlocked. Also, you should get the Effect Hit Rate nodes as a priority, as they work well with Hearth Kindle.

Jiaoqiu Light Cone Guide

This is Jiaoqiu’s signature Light Cone and the best one for him. It provides him with the effect hit rate he needs, which helps him reach the cap on his Major Trace Hearth Kindle. In addition, the Light Cone boosts all of Jiaoqiu’s attacks and gives them a chance to apply debuffs that increase the damage the opposing target takes.

This is a good alternative 5-star Beam of Light for Jiaoqiu, as it gives him an effective hit rate and allows him to inflict debuffs on enemies that increase the damage they take. It also gives Jiaoqiu an increased critical hit rate, although he doesn’t really need it.

In addition, this beam is Silver Wolf’s signature beam. Unless the player has an extra copy of this beam, it is better to use it on Silver Wolf.

This cone of light is more accessible to Jiaoqiu. The cone of light gives Jiaoqiu the ability to apply a DEF debuff to enemies, increasing his team’s damage. The downside to this cone of light is that it does not give Jiaoqiu any effect hit rate, so players will need good secondary stat rolls to reach the cap.

This is another good F2P beam for Jiaoqiu as it gives him an effective hit rate and the energy regeneration allows him to quickly charge his ultimate when attacking enemies with reduced DEF. However, since Jiaoqiu cannot lower the opponent’s DEF, they need someone like Pela on the team.

However, the biggest downside to this Beam of Light is that it is an event Beam of Light, so if players were unable to obtain copies during the first event run, they will not gain access to this Beam of Light.

Jiaoqiu Relic Guide

2-piece Messenger Traversing Hackerspace & 2-piece Pioneer Diver of Dead Waters

This combination of relics will work well with Jiaoqiu as it gives him the SPD he needs as a debuffer while also increasing his damage against weakened enemies. This relic set is best used when Jiaoqiu is supporting hyper carries like Acheron.

4-part prisoner in deep captivity

If the player wants to use Jiaoqiu on a DOT team instead, this relic set would be a better choice. It increases his ATK, which in turn increases the damage that Ashen Roast deals. In addition, it increases the damage he deals the more DOT the opponent has.

2-piece Sprightly Vonwacq

This is the Planar Ornament for Jiaoqiu when he’s on a hyper carry team. It gives him an energy regeneration rate that allows him to use his ultimate more often while also taking action sooner to apply debuffs to enemies.

2-part pancosmic trading company

If the player wants to use Jiaoqiu in a DOT team instead, using this Planar Ornament set is a must. Not only does it give him an additional effect hit rate, but it also increases his ATK based on his effect hit rate. For Jiaoqiu’s relics’ stats, try to find out the effect hit rate for the body, SPD for the feet, fire damage % or ATK % for the ball, and energy regeneration for the rope. For the sub-stats, find out the effect hit rate, speed, ATK % and effect res.

Jiaoqiu is the perfect support for Acheron as Jiaoqiu boosts his team’s ultimate damage. In addition, as a Nihility character, he counts towards Acheron’s 2 Nihility character buff. Silver Wolf is also a good support as she can lower the opponent’s DEF while Aventurine can protect the team from any damage.

If the player owns E2 Acheron, they can replace Silver Wolf with a Harmony character such as Sparkle or Ruan Mei.

In a F2P version, players can use Serval or Sushang as the main DPS, Pela as the second support, and Gallagher or Lynx as the healer.

Relics: 4-piece Prisoner in Deep Captivity, 2-piece Pancosmic Trading Company

This is the best DoT team to put Jiaoqiu in, especially if the player has Black Swan’s signature Cone of Light. Since Ashen Roast counts as Burn and deals DoT damage, Kafka can detonate it with her ability. This, along with Kafka’s Shock and Black Swan’s Arcana, will further increase the damage Kafka deals to the enemy, as well as the DoT the enemies take.

Huohuo’s job on this team is not only to heal the team, but also to help regenerate the team’s energy so that everyone can use their ultimates more often. Remember to use Jiaoqiu’s ultimate first before using everyone else’s.

In a F2P version, players can use Guinaifen, Sampo, Jiaoqiu, and Lynx. Guinaifen, Sampo, and Jiaoqiu inflict DoTs on the opponent, while Jiaoqiu increases the damage that Sampo and Guinaifen deal with their ultimates.
