Jill Scott returns to work in the cafe after her victory on “I’m a Celebrity”

Jill Scott will return to work at her cafe next week after winning I’m a Celebrity…Get Me Out of Here!

The former England professional footballer and her fiancée Shelly Unitt own BOXX 2 BOXX COFFEE in Wythenshawe, Manchester, and Jill can’t wait to return to the shop to thank all her ‘loyal’ customers.

She said: “I will definitely go to BOXX 2 BOXX again.

“We have customers who have been so loyal to us and kept the store running, especially during COVID.

“Just like at the European Championships, I’m not going to change. So it’s about getting there and really thanking everyone.”

The 35-year-old star is “grateful” to be part of this year’s season of the ITV show and insists all of her co-stars are “winners”.

She added to the Daily Mirror newspaper: “I just can’t believe it. It’s been an incredible journey and I’m extremely grateful for it.”

“I don’t want to say anything cheesy, but you’re there as a team and you’re not competing against each other, so I thought the team would be a winner.

“Sometimes it felt like I was camping with my friends, and that was probably the best part.

“I know I was given the crown, but to me the whole team was a winner.”

Former Man City and Aston Villa player Jill admitted this week that she missed the World Cup “so much” during her time in the jungle.

She said: “Don’t get me in trouble, it has to be Shelly and obviously my family and friends, but I missed the World Cup games so much. Owen and I would beg for the results and then the day we had a popsicle and the results were displayed on the stick, that was one of the best days in the jungle.”
