Joshua Jackson revealed his secret to looking youthful after the internet went crazy over his radiant appearance at the 2024 Emmys on Sunday.
The 46-year-old “Dawson’s Creek” star walked the red carpet at the Peacock Theater in Los Angeles, prompting internet users to comment on his age-defying facade.
“Joshua Jackson is aging like fine wine,” wrote one fan on X.
“Pacey is freezing and aging backwards,” wrote Not Skinny But Not Fat podcast host Amanda Hirsch in her Instagram story, referring to Jackson’s character from the early 2000s television series.
“He has aged beautifully,” agreed a third viewer.
“If Joshua Jackson ever realizes how much power he has over older millennial women, he will truly be unstoppable,” wrote a fourth X-user.
Laverne Cox, E! News’ Emmy correspondent, was also impressed by the actor’s dashing appearance and did her best to reveal his secret.
“You look good, darling,” she told him on the red carpet before the star-studded event. “A lot of people who start out very young, by the time they get to your age, they’re a little worn out, a little exhausted.”
The 52-year-old “Orange Is the New Black” alum continued: “How did you manage to look so fresh and beautiful at this stage of your life after being in show business for 35 years?”
At first, the former teen heartthrob joked about his age, telling Cox, “Once you hit 40, it’s all downhill.” But ultimately, he shared that he’s beaming because “life is beautiful.”
“I think that’s the magic formula,” he said. “I love my life. I love what I do for a living. I have a beautiful little girl. There’s not much to complain about.”
Jackson has a four-year-old daughter, Juno, with his estranged wife Jodie Turner-Smith.
The 38-year-old “Queen & Slim” star filed for divorce from the “Fringe” alumna in October 2023 after four years of marriage.
Two months later, Jackson confirmed he was dating Lupita Nyong’o after they took a romantic walk together, and from then on, they continued to flaunt their public love.
It seems there is no animosity between the exes, with Turner-Smith telling The Cut in June: “Good for her.”
“We need luck to be able to co-parent peacefully,” she added.
