Journey Community Food Pantry will be distributing food to those in need on Wednesday, 8/28/24 from 10am-12pm and 1pm-5pm. Remember, JCFP currently serves households once a month and will continue to do so as long as food is available.
We currently have fresh eggs, a new shipment of baby food, cat food and dog food (for small animals), wet food (no dry food) and an abundance of fresh seasonal produce, breads and desserts.

IMPORTANT UPDATES ON GETTING FOOD AT JOURNEY
* JCFP serves clients in Floyd County, Chattooga County and Cherokee County, Alabama.
*You MUST have a valid Georgia or Alabama photo ID (driver’s license or state ID) and mailed item (with the same address) verifying residency.
*The ONLY mail that will be accepted is a recent utility bill, a letter from the government (IRS, GDOR, SSI, DFAC, court) or medical bill in the client’s name, or a copy of their current lease. We can accept proof of residency in paper or online (accessed on your phone), but it must be current and dated. All letters presented must be dated within the last 60 days.
*We cannot accept junk mail, advertising, auto insurance, medication bottles, checkbooks, handwritten notes for people living in another customer’s household, etc. No exceptions can be made.
Please remember that you must show your ID and proof of registration EVERY time you visit the pantry as a customer.
We appreciate everyone coming prepared with their ID and mail ready so that JCFP volunteers can serve you as quickly as possible.
