Justin Fields writes career history with a brilliant 3-0 start

PITTSBURGH– Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback Justin Fields had his best game of the season, completing 25 of 32 passes for 245 yards and two total touchdowns against the Los Angeles Chargers on Sunday to help the Steelers move to 3-0, a mark they had not reached since the 2020 season. It is the third time in Mike Tomlin’s career that the Steelers have started a season 3-0.

For Fields, however, this is a milestone in his NFL career. With the Chicago Bears, he only managed 10-28. That alone put him behind. It is the first time in his NFL career that Fields has won three games in a row. He has never won three NFL games in a row in the NFL before.

Fields remembers that feeling from his college days playing for Ohio State, but his struggles with the Bears have left him associated with losing throughout his young NFL career, particularly with a Bears team that treaded water after the transfer that selected him.

Although Bow doesn’t know it, his time as the Steelers’ starting quarterback with three wins is statistically the most successful for him and the team he plays for in his entire NFL career.
