If you are one of those people who can’t resist a flea market, this story is for you. Some lucky Californians recently hit the jackpot when Kathy Hilton hosted a massive estate sale at her Bel-Air home. The “Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” star offered hundreds of items for sale, including pieces that have been featured on Bravo and elsewhere.
Of course, a garage sale at Kathy’s house is as over-the-top as you’d imagine. The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star had hundreds of items spread out throughout her palatial home. She had everything for sale, from her mother of the bride’s dress to live Chihuahuas. A TikToker documented the whole thing, and it’s truly spectacular.
Kathy Hilton’s estate sale served a good cause
In the video, you can see the lucky shopper wading through the endless piles of items Kathy and her team had for sale. Some of the items looked high-quality, while others looked like they came straight from the bargain bin at TJ Maxx. Either way, the opportunity to look at a bunch of stuff at Kathy’s home is a whole new level.
While most of us regular folks host garage sales to clean out our homes and make a few extra bucks, Kathy’s garage sale was a little different. It actually served a good cause. According to EstateSales.net, the two-day event benefited the Los Angeles Mission & Yogi’s House Animal Rescue.
Guests had to pay a $25 admission fee, or $100 for VIPs, and there was even a shuttle to take people to the venue. Items for sale included designer pieces worn on RHOBH, collectibles, and other items donated by celebrities. Even some of Kathy’s RHOBH co-stars donated items to the event.
For some reason, the person in the TikTok video didn’t buy anything at the estate auction. Just being there must have been enough for them, but they could have certainly bought a used candle, a puppy, or something like that. Something! Talk about a missed opportunity.
