Actors, Podcasters and Top Ten Jimmy Kimmel Live! Guest host Lamorne Morris won the Emmy for Outstanding Supporting Actor in a Miniseries or Anthology or Movie at the 2024 Emmy Awards. Morris won for his role in the fifth season of Fargo, which also starred Juno Temple, Jon Hamm and Jennifer Jason Leigh. Morris’ acceptance speech was the only one of the night to mention his birth, and the only one to describe his birth with the words “I fell out of her ass.” Morris also thanked his daughter Lily. “I love you,” he said, “I told you I would. You always doubted me.” Take that, Lily!

Morris praised his fellow nominees, especially The sympathizer‘S Robert Downey Jr. “I have a poster of you in my house,” Morris said from the stage. “Sign it. Seriously.” Downey pumped his fist in the air when told of his presence at the Morris home, so getting signed by this bad boy seems like a no-brainer. But what project is the poster for? Kiss, kiss, bang, bang? Chaplin? SNL Season 11? Vulture reached out to Morris’ rep to find out.
