Laura Ingraham makes list of ‘lies’ Harris will apparently tell at debate

Laura Ingraham, the Donald Trump-defending Fox News host who has vilified Vice President Kamala Harris for the grave sin of hugging, claimed Monday that she already knows what will happen at Tuesday’s presidential debate and expects a series of “lies” – albeit not from Trump, who is chronically averse to the truth, but from Harris.

Ingraham, who gave Trump unsolicited advice earlier this year before his debate against President Joe Biden, gave him essentially the same advice: to “stay calm” to look like a “seasoned leader.” And it will be Harris – not Trump, who spread sexist slurs against his opponent in social media posts – who will be the one spouting those slurs, Ingraham predicted.

“She will lie that Trump called for violence on January 6, when in fact he said, ‘Go in peace,'” Ingraham began, apparently referring to Trump’s video message, which was not released until several hours after the violence began.

“She will lie about Charlottesville and what he said about veterans, despite repeated fact-checking,” Ingraham continued.

In the summer of 2017, Trump said on camera that there were “very fine people on both sides” of the rally and counterprotester at the University of Virginia. And the next year, Trump called America’s war victims “losers” and “suckers.” The Atlantic would later report, citing four people who had firsthand knowledge of his comments.

“She will lie by claiming that the illegal proceedings against Donald Trump are fair and show that he is untrustworthy. When we know that they would never have prosecuted him if he had retired from politics,” Ingraham claimed.

Trump, a convicted felon whose sentencing was postponed last week until after the election, remains under indictment in three other jurisdictions, and his multimillion-dollar verdicts on fraud and defamation charges are under appeal.

Ingraham wasn’t finished yet.

Harris “will, of course, lie about her economic record and say she created all these jobs, when in fact most of them are, of course, post-COVID recovery jobs or, of course, went to foreign workers,” she continued. “And she will lie that Trump’s policies will increase inflation, when in fact we know he will lower energy costs, which will lower inflation.”

“She will lie that she is tough on crime, even though we know that the explosion of migrant crime is destroying our neighborhoods. She will lie that the immigration bill drafted by Schumer and Jim Lankford would have solved the border crisis and that Trump would have killed it for political reasons,” Ingraham said, even though Lankford had already told Fox News as much in April.

Ingraham’s final claim was that Harris “will lie and say she is the candidate of change when she is just another puppet of the failed establishment.”

Harris had previously pointed out on Monday that Trump had made numerous false claims in his past and at the same time expressed her expectations about his behavior during the debate.

“We should be prepared for the fact that he will probably tell many untruths,” she said The Rickey Smiley Show“He’s fighting for himself – not for the American people. And I think that will come out during the debate. I think he’s going to lie.”
