Weibo tipster @FixedFocus says that Huawei’s tri-fold will use the China-made UTG display solution. The corresponding panel has entered mass production for the upcoming device. Perhaps the supply chain won’t be a problem this time.
UTG stands for Ultra Thin Glass technology. It offers a flat display structure with improved device durability for foldable phones. It is an easily bendable component and appears quite thin. They are less susceptible to scratches and other risks associated with glass.
