Levi Goode opens two restaurant concepts this August

Houston’s restaurant scene continues to grow. In the run-up to the upcoming Texas Michelin Guide, two more restaurants will be joining the scene in August. Levi Gooderespected chef and mind behind Goode Company Restaurants, opens two standalone concepts in Houston on 20.08.: Credibility and sidebar.

Goode’s two new restaurants offer upscale American cuisine and upscale cocktails. Right next to each other in The McKinley at Memorial CityThe two restaurants will open on Tuesday, August 20th. Reservations are now possible.

“I am so excited to see Credence and Sidebar become a reality,” said Chef and Owner Levi Goode. “Years of work, passion and creativity have brought us to this moment. I hope both Credence and Sidebar serve as local oases where people can come together and enjoy a thoughtful meal, a handcrafted cocktail and a good time. We are excited to continue serving the Memorial neighborhood of Houston that has meant so much to us.”

Both concepts are characterized by classical European architecture Design inspired by Goode’s travels – with materials, furniture and accents from all over the world. Designed in collaboration with the architecture and design firm Genslerthe secular decor is intended to highlight the dining experience as a performance art.

The South Texas influenced menu at Credence offers an upscale take on regional American cuisine. Celebrate traditional Texas cooking practices such as Cooking on an open fireKitchen amenities include Wild Gulf Snapper cooked on a custom-built stove and a Fire Roasted Seafood Tower. Credence also offers a curated cocktail menu and a wine list to pair with the dishes.

Sidebar’s menu also focuses on upscale American cuisine, with options ranging from oysters with caviar to dry-aged steaks. Restaurant and bar by reservation only specializes in classic cocktails such as gin martinis, seasonal Pimm’s Cups and variations of the Manhattan.

Credence and Sidebar open at McKinley in Memorial City at 9757 Katy Freeway, Suite 170 on Tuesday, August 20th.
