Linkin Park lands an incredible five top 40 hits in the same chart

Linkin Park may not be very active as a band these days, but that doesn’t mean they’re absent from the charts. The group, which has largely been on hiatus since the death of lead singer Chester Bennington in 2017, is still a force to be reckoned with on charts around the world as fans continue to buy and stream some of the band’s biggest hits in large quantities.

A British chart shows how popular Linkin Park still is today. The band landed five top 40 hits on the same list, and all of them are songs that have been around for years and that their still loyal fans can’t get enough of.

Linkin Park dominates the Official Rock and Metal Singles Chart this week, with the band taking five spots on the 40-place list of the UK’s best-selling songs that can be classified as rock, metal or another related style. Four of these hits were featured in the last frame of the chart, but this time another classic returns.

“Somewhere I Belong” reappears on the official Rock & Metal Singles Chart this week. The single barely makes it back onto the list, coming in at number 39 – just one spot away from last place.

Two of Linkin Park’s recent wins are even higher than last year. “Numb” rises from number 14 to number 12, moving ever closer to the top 10. “What I’ve Done,” on the other hand, has risen from number 28 to number 26.

Linkin Park’s “Crawling” remains stable at number 35. Just two places further back, “One Step Closer” manages to move even further away from its position from last week, slipping slightly to number 37 during this period.

Three of these five singles – “Numb”, “What I’ve Done” and “Somewhere I Belong” – previously topped the official Rock and Metal Singles Chart. “Crawling” missed the throne by one notch, while “One Step Closer” remained at number 3.
