Little League World Series: Heading to Williamsport to support the Staten Island team? Here are the complex’s dining options

SOUTH WILLIAMSPORT, Pa. – Let’s face it: Whether you’re attending the Little League World Series or an MLB game at Yankee Stadium or Citi Field, food is always part of the schedule.

Six years ago, hordes of Staten Islanders flocked to Lamade Stadium to watch Mid-Island play in the LLWS. If the classic 2018 game was any indication, there will likely be a repeat in terms of off-island attendance for South Shore on Thursday (vs. Nevada at 3 p.m.) and beyond.

And yes, at some point they will be hungry – or, more importantly, their children will demand food.

But don’t worry, there are plenty of food options in the hall of the LLWS complex to satisfy your hunger.

First off, the complex’s main concession stand, located right between Lamade and Volunteer Stadium, offers the main fast food items, including chicken fingers ($8.50), barbecue sandwich (pork or chicken with coleslaw and pickles, $7.50), hamburger ($6.25), Italian sausage ($6.25), veggie dog ($4.50), hot dog ($4.00), French fries ($5.25), and grilled chicken salad ($6.50).

There are also pizza options. A slice is $5.00, a whole pizza is $28.00, and a Grand Slam pizza package is $40.00.

There are also several specialty food stations offering roast beef, Philly cheesesteaks and “triple play” tacos.

The Roast Beef Station includes one serving of Roast Beef (Original or Beef on Weck, $10.00) and Roast Beef Sliders (two, Original or Beef on Weck, $14.00). Cheese is an additional $1.00. The Roast Beef Station also includes a dish called the “Home Plate” (Beef on Pasta Salad with Cheese and Gravy, $15.00).

There is also a Little League Market station in the hall, which mainly offers a range of drinks and small snacks.

Would you like to sit and enjoy your meal? The hall also features the Jonathan Levin Memorial Pavilion, which has about two dozen iron picnic tables that can comfortably seat 8-10 people.
