Live updates: Presidential debate between Trump and Harris tonight

The Democratic National Committee is planning a major youth voter outreach campaign in Philadelphia today, urging students at area colleges to launch “Google Project 2025” to mobilize registered Gen Z voters ahead of the presidential debate, according to a memo first obtained by NBC News.

The DNC plans to target 100,000 students through campus kiosks, mobile billboards and flyers, linking Trump to Project 2025, a draft of far-right policy proposals created as a blueprint for the next Republican president.

“Young people in Philadelphia have the power to make a difference in this election,” said Abhi Rahman, deputy communications director for the DNC, in a statement. “As Philadelphia students return to campus, Democrats are making sure they know their futures are at stake in November.”

The campus kiosks will be placed at Drexel University, Lafayette College, Temple University, the University of Pennsylvania and Widener University and will contain material arguing that Project 2025 would negatively impact students’ lives.

Trump has repeatedly publicly denied any knowledge of Project 2025.

According to NBC News’ latest “Stay Tuned” Generation Z poll, half of Generation Z voters will vote for Harris in November, while a third will vote for Trump.
