Marion Crepes and Pokémon Peaceful Place team up for sweet, Insta-worthy treats

Which sweet Pokécrepe will you choose?

Visitors to Tokyo Harajuku youth culture district may be surprised to discover an endless row of creperies on the famous Takeshita Street and its side streets. The original shop among them, Marion Crepes, has been an integral part of the area since 1976 and is practically synonymous with the Harajuku district.

The famous restaurant’s menu will be expanded thanks to an upcoming collaboration with the Pokémon Peaceful Place (or PokéPeace) campaign, which shows the daily life of a handful of Pokémon living in a shared apartment with a few humans. It’s not the first time PokéPeace has collaborated with another brand, and each new collaboration promises plenty of adorable pairings.

Please note that none of the collaboration elements will be available on Wednesday, September 18 while the staff exchanges supplies between rounds. In addition, anyone who buys a crêpe during each round receives one of four randomly selected stamp card style cards (eight in total) inspired by the candy shop in PokéPeace. It’s a fun souvenir that will last much longer than the crepe in your hand!

If you decide to indulge your sweet tooth at the Original Marion Crepes in Harajuku, be sure to set aside some time to explore the area as well. We can confirm that there are even more tasty treats to be found at the recently opened Harakado complex.
