Someone who stopped at a Cape Cod store on Wednesday and bought a lottery ticket came forward to claim a $100,000 win.

The $100,000 prize came from “$15,000,000 Money Maker,” a $30 scratch card game released on April 19, 2022.

There are only 17 $100,000 prizes left to be won as of August 22, down from 216 at the start of the game. Only one $15 million top prize and one $1 million prize remain to be claimed.

The winning ticket was sold at Sandwich Mart & Spirits in Sandwich on Route 6A. The liquor store is located next to a sandwich pizzeria and a store called Historical Antiques & Coins.

In total, at least 490 prizes valued at $600 or more were won or claimed in Massachusetts on Wednesday, including 13 in Springfield, 20 in Worcester and 47 in Boston.

The Massachusetts State Lottery publishes a complete list of winning tickets every day. The list only includes winning tickets valued at over $600.

The highest lottery win ever in Massachusetts was $1 million a year for life this year.

The prize came from the lottery’s Lifetime Millions scratch-off game. The winner claimed his prize through a trust on July 10 and opted for a one-time payment of $15.4 million.
