McDonald’s latest Happy Meal is an unexpected collaboration and people love it

Just when we thought McDonald’s and Crocs couldn’t possibly come out with a cuter collaboration than their Grimace slippers, they’ve hit the jackpot again. This time, the two brands will be collaborating on a special Crocs Happy Meal.

Instagram food news account @snackolator confirmed that the Crocs Happy Meal will include Crocs Clips, miniature keychains inspired by the brand’s iconic shoes.

“These are currently available in a few countries and there are 10 in total and each one comes in a cute little Crocs box. Big hint that the designs (and quantity) might be different in the US, but the Happy Meal is definitely coming to the US,” @snackolator revealed in his Instagram post.

Not only does the Happy Meal come in a fun Crocs-branded Happy Meal box, but the Crocs Clips also come with their own adorable packaging (and stickers!).

Although fans are quite excited about the unique Happy Meal offering, some wonder whether the target audience, namely children, is being neglected.

“As a kid I would have been sad to get one of these. I miss the days when there were real toys, like those electronic games,” read one comment under @snackolator’s post.

Others agreed, saying they missed Happy Meal items like Beanie Babies and Barbie dolls.

Given the popularity of bag charms and other trinkets that can be attached to clothing, shoes, and other items, it’s safe to assume that this generation might be happy with Crocs keychains in their Happy Meal.

The Crocs Happy Meal is currently available in Singapore and other international markets. There is no information yet on when it will be released in the US.
