SAN ANTONIO – CosMc’s, a new McDonald’s cafe concept, is now open on the far west side of San Antonio.

This is the first CosMc’s in Alamo City. It is open daily from 7am to 10pm and is located at 12360 FM 1957, on the corner of Potranco Road.

The alien-themed restaurant features a drive-thru and counter service.

During the grand opening weekend on Saturday, August 10 and Sunday, August 11, the first 100 customers can sample free menu items and receive exclusive merchandise between 10 a.m. and 4 p.m., according to a press release.

CosMc’s encourages people to customize their drinks with its menu. The restaurant offers options to add fruity popping boba, energy shots, vitamin C shots, and pre-workout shots.

Here are examples of the types of drinks customers can order:

• Green tea with blackberry mint

• Churro Cold Brew Frappé

• Cold Brew with Hazelnut Mocha

• Popping Pear Slush

• Sprite Moon Splash

• Energy boost from sour cherries

• Sour Tango Lemonade

Here are examples of the types of food guests can purchase:

• Creamy avocado and tomatillo sandwich

• Hashbrown bites

• Spicy Queso Sandwich

Customers can download the CosMc’s app, join the CosMc’s Club and participate in the company’s new loyalty program.

Guests can look forward to a free welcome drink and a birthday gift and collect points with every purchase by signing up for the new loyalty program.

Six more CosMc’s are set to open in the San Antonio and Dallas metropolitan areas in the coming months, the press release states.

Other CosMc locations currently open in Texas include Arlington and Dallas.
