Out of “American Cake” and “Father of the Bride” to “Finding Dory” and “Schitt’s Creek”, Actor and comedy legend Eugene Levy has played several iconic father figures over the years. The Hollywood veteran is also a father himself – to son Dan Levy and daughter Sarah Levy.
Eugene and Dan Levy are ready to make history by becoming the first father-son duo Co-host of the 2024 Emmy Awards and before the awards ceremony, Levy said he consulted his wife, Deborah Divine, about his decision to take the job.
“I told my wife we were asked to host,” Eugene Levy recalled to ABC News. “She said, ‘Well, you’re not doing it,’ and I said, ‘Well, maybe, maybe not.'”
Ultimately, says Eugene Levy, it was irresistible not to co-host the biggest night on television.
“There was electricity that somehow pulled us in,” he said.
