The Michigan State Spartans travel east to face the Maryland Terrapins on Saturday afternoon in the first Big Ten Conference meeting of the 2024 season between the two teams. Find live updates on the game here.
The Spartans are looking for their first consecutive win since Week 2, when they beat the Richmond Spiders 45-14 last season. Last year’s game against Maryland was part of MSU’s six-game losing streak that ended with a 31-9 loss at Spartan Stadium.
MSU head coach Jonathan Smith will continue to work with his new team to establish his offensive regime and build it around sophomore quarterback Aidan Chiles, who transferred from Oregon State, where Smith most recently coached.
