Saturday’s game will be only the second time these two teams have met. The first time the two teams met was in the 2005 Rose Bowl, when Texas, led by quarterback Vince Young, won 38-37.
The Wolverines are no strangers when it comes to SEC opponents. The team holds a record of 26-12-1 against the conference. With the goal of defending its title of national champion, Michigan must find a way to pull off a convincing win against the Longhorns.
