With a nine-game lead in the National League Central Division and just over two weeks remaining, no one could blame the Milwaukee Brewers and their fans for already looking ahead to October.
But much of Milwaukee’s remaining September schedule has the feel of a postseason.
Thirteen of the Brewers’ final 16 games would be against teams currently in the National League playoffs if the season ended today, including seven against this weekend’s opponent, the Arizona Diamondbacks. The other games are against the Philadelphia Phillies and New York Mets — three games each against each other.

The Brewers have not played against the Diamondbacks since they were eliminated in the 2023 Division Series at American Family Field.
