DID YOU KNOW?

Every year in America, an estimated one to two billion pounds of dead or dying fish are thrown overboard because of common commercial fishing methods that use nets and dredges. This is called bycatch, or more accurately, by-killing. Minnow in Galley Ho is actively working to reduce waste by using only seafood caught by line, trap, spear or hand. No nets. No byproduct. This year they received their commercial fishing licenses and source much of their seafood themselves, in addition to working with local fishermen. They want their guests to love their food and feel good about it! The restaurant is located on the water and is easily accessible by motor or sailboat. Eight short-stay slips are available on a first-come, first-served basis. Reservations are recommended and can be made at minnowrestaurant.com.
