Hunt, who works in influencer marketing, says she “knew there was something special” between her and her boyfriend, a tech recruiter, after their first date.

“We really never stopped talking once we started,” she said. “We go on a lot of fun dates, mostly to new restaurants in Nashville because we’re both huge foodies.”

Both now live in Nashville. Hunt is originally from a small town in Washington, while Huver is from northern Ohio.

The couple are among millions who first met through a dating app, such as Tinder, Hinge, Bumble and others, which first brought users together online and then led to in-person dates.

Of these, 52 percent were Millennials – people aged between 28 and 43 – and 22 percent belonged to Generation Z, i.e. up to 27 years of age.
