MOTOCADDY ELECTRIC CADDY RENTAL FLEETS GIVE CLUBS A POWER BOOST

MOTOCADDY ELECTRIC CADDY RENTAL FLEETS GIVE CLUBS A POWER BOOST

The world’s leading brand offers golfers who travel on foot financial benefits as well as health and performance benefits

Motocaddy, the world’s leading electric caddie brand, is breaking new ground by providing a rapidly growing number of golf clubs and resorts across North America with an additional revenue stream through its reliable and groundbreaking electric caddie rental fleets.

More and more golfers are now choosing to walk around the course and Motocaddy’s award-winning products are the “most satisfying” way to transport their clubs around the course. Independent research shows that around half of golfers wish they had made the switch sooner.

By working closely with Motocaddy’s sales representatives, golf facilities and resorts – including prestigious tournament venues – can tailor their rental programs to ensure members and guests receive premium products with unmatched reliability.

“Over the past few years, we have worked hard to meet the growing demand for opportunities to explore the course on foot as it has become increasingly popular during and after the pandemic. The challenge was that some of our members were unable to walk and carry their bag,” said Ned Graff, PGA General Manager at TPC Potomac at Avenel Farm, Maryland, site of the PGA TOUR’s 2022 Wells Fargo Championship. “When I saw the Motocaddy design and rental program for the M5 GPS electric caddie, I knew we had a solution that our members would fully utilize. We have since upgraded to the M7 REMOTE model, which has been very well received.

“Members felt we listened to their requests and met their needs with an electric fleet that offers much more than they expected. We displayed the carts on the first tee so they could see them in person and understand the functionality and ease of use required. We saw many walkers who previously carried a caddy switch to an electric caddy to enjoy the course more and still get some exercise. The rental program offered by Motocaddy is a win-win for both parties and we look forward to a long relationship with them,” he added.

The health and performance benefits of a Motocaddy fleet, as well as the profit opportunities that come with it, have also been observed at Rolling Green GC in Springfield, PA. Scott Chisholm, PGA Director of Golf, says the Motocaddy rental fleet is proving to be a huge success for his company.

“One of the club’s big initiatives in recent years has been to encourage walking on the course and I’d say at the moment we’re at about 50:50 golfers walking. But a few years ago it was around 80% on ride-on karts so Motocaddy has really helped to get our members on their feet.

“We initially bought six units as test cars and the first problem was that they sold out every day. So we had to get more and this year it’s been fantastic. In a place like Rolling Green where it can be very undulating, the electric caddies have been a huge hit with their features and functionality and for us the reliability has been huge. Our fleet is fully charged and ready to go every morning and they’re on the road again in the afternoon,” he added.

Motocaddy has sold more than 600,000 electric caddies worldwide and offers local sales and order processing in the USA as well as expert advice, fast shipping and excellent service.
