My mom and I both love breezy, oversized tops. We also both love Madewell—so the Puff Sleeve Babydoll Top is the best of both worlds. The square neckline is flattering without being too revealing, and the three-quarter sleeves mean we can wear it with skirts on cooler summer evenings and layer it up with leggings and jeans in the fall. Plus, the tie detail at the back is so fun and eye-catching. We’ve been known to wear the same top at the same time (like when we walked around Las Vegas in matching star-print tops a few months ago), and I’m pretty sure this will definitely be an example of that. We’re not the only ones who love this top, either—happy shoppers said the puff sleeves give it “extra flair” and the “length is perfect.”
APL Techloom Bliss Sneakers
I visited my mom in Cleveland in June and when I walked through the door wearing these sneakers, she exclaimed, “I need a pair of those!” I own these slip-on sneakers from APL in multiple colors because they’re almost unbelievably comfortable. (My #lifehack is to order them in kids’ sizes to save some money, but you can even snag them in select colorways for just $66 at Zappos right now.)
We both love that APL designed these shoes with proprietary technology that provides tons of comfort when walking and running long distances. The slip-on design is accented with a satin strap on the top that adds an eye-catching accent. Felina Capri Leggings
My mother and I have been fans of the same leggings for years – unfortunately, the fit has recently changed, which means we are looking for a new brand to take its place. After a much After much searching and fruitless trying on, we finally found these Felina capri leggings that are exact replicas of our favorites from years past. I’m not one for platitudes, but when I say these leggings changed our lives for the better, I mean it. We both wore them on a recent trip to Ireland and Scotland and loved how comfortable they were on miles of hiking. The slim waistband sits comfortably just below the belly button, while the cotton and modal jersey is lightweight and buttery soft. Not to mention, they’re only $20, so we can stock up on them without hitting our wallets too hard.
