It’s date night for Naomi Watts and husband Billy Crudup.

The couple, who are both nominated for the 2024 Emmy Awards, had every reason to celebrate as they walked the red carpet at the Peacock Theatre in Los Angeles, so it was only natural that they dressed up for their big night.

Watts, 55, stepped out in a silky emerald green strapless Balenciaga gown with an A-line skirt, mini train and a sweet bow on the back. She complemented the bold color of her dress with a bright red-orange lipstick. A coiffed chin-length bob and chain earrings rounded it off.

Crudup, 56, kept it super classic in a black suit, a skinny tie and shiny black loafers.

Even before they stepped onto the carpet, the two dressed impressively for the Vanity Fair Pre-Emmy party on September 14. They were seen leaving the celebration at the Sunset Tower Hotel in yet another glamorous date night outfit. She wore a sparkling champagne dress and he wore an unbuttoned white shirt and black suit.

Crudup is nominated for his role as Cory in The morning show. He’s up against his co-stars Jon Hamm and Mark Duplass, as well as Jack Lowden, Jonathan Price, Tadanobu Asano and Takehiro Hira in the same category. The series is also nominated for Best Drama Series, and Jennifer Aniston and Reese Witherspoon are both nominated for Best Lead Actress in a Drama Series. The series is also up for Best Supporting Actor in a Supporting Role in a Drama Series, with four of the series’ actresses competing: Greta Lee, Holland Taylor, Nicole Beharie and Karen Pittman.

Watts is nominated for outstanding actress in a miniseries or a movie for her role as Babe Paley in Feud: Capote vs. the SwansShe competes against Brie Larson, Jodie Foster, Juno Temple and Sofía Vergara. feud is also nominated for Outstanding Actor in a Miniseries or a Movie (Tom Hollander), Outstanding Supporting Actor in a Miniseries or a Movie (Treat Williams), and Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Miniseries or a Movie (Diane Lane).

Crudup and Watts, who only officially married last year despite having been together since 2017, love a glamorous red carpet moment. They wore chic, coordinated looks at the 2024 SAG Awards in February.

Watts wore a stunning Dior Haute Couture Spring/Summer 2023 long black crepe dress embroidered with geometric floral appliqués on a mesh background with puffed sleeves. She carried a cute matching black clutch and completed the look with emerald and ebony pear-shaped earrings by Antonia Miletto of Fred Leighton and red lips. Crudup was smartly dressed in his usual classic black tuxedo.
