What to look out for at Watkins Glen International, minor changes to the track

To keep the cars on the track, the run-off areas were adjusted. The outer run-off area in Turn 1 was bumped and the rumble strips in the inner loop, the famous “bus stop” corner, were adjusted to be higher and more tapered – almost like a thorn.

The 3.8-kilometer-long, eleven-turn circuit features several heavy braking zones and several tricky corners. The last two corners are ideal for overtaking and can ultimately decide the race.
