New ASV VT-75 with Yanmar drive offers lifting capacity and loading capacity

ASV, a manufacturer of general-purpose and all-season compact track loaders and skid steers, introduces the VT-75 Posi-Track compact track loader. Powered by a Yanmar engine, the 74.3 hp vertical lift machine is designed for high-altitude work, truck loading and many other construction and landscaping tasks. Packed with a variety of comfort and productivity features and technologies, the mid-frame compact track loader delivers a premium experience while allowing operators to get more work done in more places.

“The VT-75 really enables our ASV customers to do more,” said Peter Ovrebo, North America product management manager for Yanmar Compact Equipment North America. “It fits right in the heart of the construction market where operators can get the most out of it. With the combination of high rated operating capacity, loading capacity, reliable Yanmar engine and ASV performance, it is a valuable asset for operations large and small.”

Projects run more smoothly with the VT-75. The 3900 kg compact track loader’s Yanmar Tier 4 Final diesel engine delivers more power and flow directly to the attachment thanks to the machine’s high-performance hydraulics and direct drive pumps. A 3.05 m lift height combined with a rated operating capacity of 1040 kg and a tipping load of 2900 kg make jobs like loading over the side of dump trucks an easy and productive task.

ASV’s Posi-Track rubber track undercarriage provides VT-75 operators with unbeatable traction and mobility all year round. The system includes a suspension with two independent torsion axles per undercarriage. These ensure a smooth ride on all types of terrain and contribute to a high speed of 14.6 km/h. The flexible track and suspension also ensure maximum ground contact and – as a result – more traction and pushing power even in steep, wet, muddy and slippery conditions. A ground pressure of 4.5 psi minimizes turf damage and contributes to more flotation in difficult conditions.

The ability to move in a variety of conditions is underlined by a class-leading 12 inches of ground clearance, which allows for easy overcoming of large obstacles with less risk of getting stuck.

Performance

The VT-75’s performance and productivity-enhancing features enable operators to do more all year round, the company says. An optional tool positioner provides access to a preset attachment angle at the touch of a button, allowing operators to adjust it for repetitive applications. Likewise, optional reset technology allows the height of the load arms to be preset. Operators can use the features individually or together, depending on the job. Optional self-leveling technology complements this by automatically leveling the load both when raising and lowering the arms.

Thanks to a range of optional speed and motion features, the VT-75 is highly maneuverable and precise. The model handles grading and tight-space work with ease thanks to automatic 2-speed technology that allows seamless transition between low and high speed modes. Speed-sensitive travel control helps by improving material retention at higher speeds, but automatically shuts off for slower tasks.

Efficiency is a key feature of the new model. The efficient hydraulic and cooling systems allow the machine to operate at maximum performance in more conditions. This means the VT-75 can operate at 100% load 100% of the time in ambient temperatures ranging from -40°F to 58°F.

Comfort and user experience

The MAX Series VT-75 offers a premium operator experience in virtually every way. The cab improves comfort, productivity and safety with a variety of standard features. Superior 360-degree visibility means you spend less time watching the attachment and surroundings, improving both work quality and safety on the jobsite. Safety is further enhanced by the model’s roof hatch, one of the first to be included on a compact tracked loader.

Intuitive and ergonomic electronic controls allow operators to work comfortably even during longer work days. A 7-inch color display brings together various switches and improves access to monitoring tools, view of the optional rearview camera and the ability to keep track of maintenance schedules and history. In addition, a fully adjustable and suspended seat accommodates more body types, improving comfort.

ASV offers its Yanmar SmartAssist telematics system as an optional feature to transform operators’ experience with their equipment. Machine owners can take advantage of features ranging from remote notification of faults to real-time updates on operating status and daily work reports. Built-in anti-theft protection helps secure owners’ investments. Users can set a range from a specific location and trigger an alarm if the machine moves outside of that range.

Service friendliness

Equipped with a Yanmar engine, the VT-75 is easy to maintain. The machine can be serviced from scratch by ASV dealers, minimizing the hassle when maintenance is needed. Additionally, operators spend less time servicing their machine and more time doing the job thanks to easily accessible features. These include a swing-out radiator, top hood and side doors that provide access to all sides of the engine compartment, including filters and other daily checkpoints. The machine’s radiator also swings out with the door, allowing easy access for cleaning.

In addition, the VT-75 is built to last. ASV backs this claim with a 2-year, 2,000-hour warranty that includes the industry’s only anti-derailment warranty and tracks for the entire warranty period – something other manufacturers don’t offer.
