While it is important to have a diverse range of personalities working within a company, hiring managers should look for similar characteristics in business leaders, including determination, confidence, perceptiveness and strategic thinking.

“This study highlighted the states with the highest percentage of business leaders, with ENTP being the most popular MBTI in the entire study. New York, the financial capital of the world, understandably took the top spot. However, it is interesting to see Utah ranked as the worst state for entrepreneurs, considering Salt Lake City is one of the leading technology markets in the U.S. Companies in Utah should take note and use such personality assessments to better understand their workforce and optimize operations.”
