New England Patriots DB leaves Jets game due to injury

The New England Patriots face the New York Jets in an AFC East rivalry game tonight on Thursday Night Football, and unfortunately things aren’t going so well so far.

The Patriots are currently trailing 14-0 in the second quarter.

New England also had to deal with a potentially life-threatening injury. Jabrill Peppers, the team’s starting safety, left the game in the first half due to injury.

There are no reports yet on the injury or his chances of returning. Peppers is a key part of the defense and it would be a major blow if he were to miss the rest of the game.

According to reporter Mike Reiss, Peppers appeared to have collided with Keion White at the end. He limped off the field and disappeared into the blue tent.

Things didn’t go well for the Patriots tonight. The defense was picked apart by future Hall of Fame quarterback Aaron Rodgers and the offense was unable to move the football.

There is still a lot of football to be played, but New England needs to get going soon.

Hopefully there is some good news about Peppers. The team needs him on the field. We will be sure to let you know as soon as there is any news.
