New Life Thrift offers tons of back-to-school deals for students of all levels, from preschool to college.

Items offered include clothing and shoes of all types and sizes for children and adults, office supplies such as paper, pencils, files, folders and staplers, backpacks, tote bags and luggage, bed sheets, towels and pillows as well as small appliances, lamps, bed frames, tables and chairs.

The New Life Thrift Shop is operated by the Lewes Rehoboth Association of Congregations and distributes all profits to local nonprofits that address humanitarian needs such as hunger, homelessness, youth development, domestic violence and fire departments.

Every Thursday is Senior Citizens’ Day, with a 10% discount for people aged 55 and over with ID.

The store is run by three paid employees and over 80 volunteers.

The New Life Thrift Shop is located at 34686 Jiffy Way, Lewes, behind Jiffy Lube and Bethany Blues Restaurant on the north side of Route 1. Regular hours are Monday through Saturday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. The early bird shop opens at 9 a.m. on Tuesdays and Saturdays.

Drive-through donations are accepted until 2 p.m. Monday through Friday and until 1 p.m. Saturday. To schedule pickup of larger items, call 302-644-0171.
