Good morning, Gang Green Nation! It’s almost that time. The start of the Jets’ 2024 season is upon us. The Jets will play the San Francisco 49ers in the season opener on Monday night. The 49ers will be without their All-Pro starting safety Talanoa Hufanga. All-Pro running back Christian McCaffrey is nursing a lower leg injury that has bothered him for weeks. Additionally, outs Brandon Aiyuk and Trent Williams may not be at their best, having missed all of training camp and the entire preseason. With so many of the 49ers’ biggest stars struggling, this presents the Jets with an opportunity to steal a game against one of the NFL’s best teams early in the season. We’ll see if the Jets are up to the task.
