The Seattle Seahawks got off to a slow start but still beat the Denver Broncos at Lumen Field. I’m not sure they can get away with the turnovers, safeties and penalties on the road against the New England Patriots, no matter how poorly the Patriots are rated.

New England is 1-0 on the road after beating the Cincinnati Bengals, and the Pats defense under new head coach (and former Pats linebacker) Jerod Mayo looks to be a strong unit even without Christian Barmore and the traded Matt Judon. Kenneth Walker and George Fant will not play for the Seahawks today, so their tough task on the road will be even tougher. Can Seattle’s defense build on its great performance against Denver and keep Jacoby Brissett and Co. at bay? We’ll soon find out.
