In Week 2, the Baltimore Ravens blew a double-digit lead for the seventh time since the start of the 2022 season in a surprise home loss to the Las Vegas Raiders. Also in Week 2, the Dallas Cowboys were crushed at home by the New Orleans Saints, 44-19. One of these two teams has to get up on Sunday afternoon when they meet in Dallas, right?
Baltimore, the AFC’s No. 1 seed in the playoffs last season, is 0-2, and the Ravens could panic early this season. The Cowboys seem to always be in a panic mode, and in this case, Dallas goes into Sunday’s game at 1-1.
Meanwhile, the Miami Dolphins travel west for Week 3, and Skylar Thompson will take over as Miami’s offensive lineman in the absence of Tua Tagovailoa. Due to the well-documented and recent concussion, Tagovailoa is on the injured list. He and the Dolphins face the question of whether he will return this season…or even take the field at all. Miami faces a Seahawks team that is 2-0 and leading the NFC West under new head coach Mike Macdonald.
