Nikki Glaser mocks Aaron Rodgers with wild nickname on “Thursday Night Football”

Comedian Nikki Glaser appeared on Prime Video Football on Thursday evening postgame show after making headlines earlier this year for Netflix’s critique of Tom Brady. And while no one was safe from Glaser’s barbs, she saved her wildest quips for New York Jets quarterback Aaron Rogers after the team’s win over the New England Patriots.

“It was New York versus Boston, a real battle of the cities where you can get stabbed in a parade,” the 40-year-old joked during the segment titled “Late Hits with Nikki Glaser,” adding that “Met Life Stadium was packed with 82,000 of New Jersey’s most single dads.”

“The Jets really needed a win tonight because the Jets are a lot like Bruce Springsteen,” Glaser continued. “They’re based in New Jersey and they’ve spent the last four decades making grown men cry. And they were playing against their archrivals, the New England Patriots – the Patriots, the only team that Ben Affleck can root for.”

The FBoy Island The host also praised newly appointed Patriots coach Jerod Mayo, noting that it “must be tough for Bill Belichick to watch his ex get involved with a hot black guy.”

Glaser then turned her attention to Rodgers, who is back on the field after an Achilles tendon injury sidelined him all of last season.

“Now the Jets have a new quarterback, Aaron Rodgers, or as I like to call him, Throw Rogan,” she joked. “It’s ironic that he’s in private retreats because he can’t stop talking about it. But he’s funny, you know he lives in New York, he’s always doing his Buddies podcast, he looks like the kind of guy who buys beer for teenagers. Honestly, I’m shocked I even dated him.”

“And I’m not even kidding here, but remember when we thought this guy was going to host Danger!?” Glaser added of Rodgers’ short-lived hosting job in 2021.

Ultimately, Glaser concluded her barbs by noting that although the Jets scored more points in the game (3-24), “it was actually the Patriots who won because they got to leave New Jersey.”
