NIU’s BQi-C3 Pro e-bike drops back to $1,299

Best Buy offers the NIU BQi-C3 Pro E-Bike for $1,299 shipped. It normally costs $2,200 most days, but we’ve seen five one-day discounts on this model so far in 2024. First, the cost dropped to $1,500 on Valentine’s Day, followed by two in April and one in May, all of which continued to drop to the low price of $1,300. June brought the new low price of $1,299, which returns here today with a $901 discount. You can find more information on this e-bike at the bottom of the page or by reading through our hands-on review.

Available in three color options, the NIU BQI-C3 Pro features a 750W rear hub motor paired with two 48V 10.0Ah batteries, giving the e-bike a range of 90 miles and a top speed of 28 MPH. It fully charges in just five hours and settings can be monitored and controlled via the companion app thanks to NIU’s smart control technology, which has been transferred to this model from its popular electric scooter series.

It comes with a few extras that further enhance the riding experience, such as a kickstand, integrated luggage rack, mudguards for both wheels, LED headlight and taillight, puncture-proof tires and a 3.5″ TFT color display that shows power and battery level in real time. All wiring is internal, giving a cleaner and sleeker look, while the motor is IP65 rated and the battery is even more IP67 rated.

Segway’s expandable portable LiFePO4 Cube 2000 power station now costs just $1,200

Amazon offers the Segway Cube 2000 Portable Power Station for $1,199.99 ready to ship. Normally, this device costs $1,700 on most days, but since Prime Day in July, when it first dropped to its lowest price of $999 in 2024, we’ve been seeing an increasing number of discounts on this device. Since then, it’s maintained its higher price, but more regularly drops to $1,200 on Amazon, while Segway’s direct sales see it on average at a higher price of $1,400. Today, you’re seeing a solid $500 discount, bringing the cost back to the third-lowest price we’ve tracked – $200 above the all-time low from July’s 2-day savings event. It even beats Segway’s own website, where it’s currently discounted to a higher price of $1,400.

The Cube 2000 offers a LiFePO4 battery capacity of 2,048Wh, which can be expanded up to 5,048Wh with three BTX-1000 expansion battery packs (sold separately). Unlike models from other brands of the same size, this model has an impressive 12 output ports for charging devices and household appliances – four USB-A, three AC, two USB-C, two DC and one car port – with the power station delivering a constant output of 2,200W with a peak output of 4,400W. Despite its capacity, it only takes 1.8 hours to fully charge this device from a regular power outlet thanks to its fast charging feature. There is also the option to charge it with a maximum solar output of 800W, allowing for solar charging. Smart controls are available through the Segway-Ninebot app via a Bluetooth connection.

Jackery’s Explorer 290 Portable Power Station wants to be your travel companion and costs only $180

Best Buy is offering the Jackery Explorer 290 portable power station as part of its daily deals for $179.99 ready to ship. Last year it was priced at $190 during the Black Friday sales, and the price was immediately slashed to a new low of $180 in January. That price difference repeated itself in July and peaked this month as well. It’s back on the market just in time for the late summer through fall outings, with another $70 discount that brings the price back to the lowest price ever we’ve tracked. This model is also currently unavailable in new condition on Amazon, only as a refurbished option for $149.

A wonderful travel companion, the Explorer 290 weighs 9.6 pounds and fits right into your backpack or carrying case. It offers a capacity of 290Wh as well as a power output of 200W with a peak of 400W. There are three ways to charge this model’s battery: either through solar charging, an AC outlet, or a carport – which takes about five to seven hours on average. Thanks to an AC port, two USB-A ports, and the carport, you can charge up to four devices at once.
