HIGH POINT – The American Home Furnishings Hall of Fame has accepted nominations for the 2025 Home Furnishings Leadership Institute. The fourth annual event will be held February 16-20, 2025, at High Point University.
Participation in the Institute is limited each year to 25 emerging leaders under the age of 40, selected based on nominations from across the industry.
The five-day event is modeled after Harvard Business School’s prestigious seminar for the Young President’s Organization and the Chief Executives Organization and is designed to accelerate and promote the development of leadership skills in the furnishings industry.
As part of the learning experience, each year the Leadership Institute includes a series of keynote interviews and challenging questions for interactive discussions with industry leaders. The event also includes case study exercises culminating in “pillar group” presentations to a panel of judges.
In addition to industry representatives, select faculty from High Point University’s Phillips School of Business and the Nido R. Qubein School of Communications will lead a combination of lectures and discussions.
